What's up everyone! For this blog post, I am commenting on a video that I watched about a day in the life of a Japanese exchange student. Watching the video, I learned so much about how different the school culture is in Japan compared to America. For one, students have to change shoes once they get to school. The majority of students make lunch at home before they come to school. One part of the Japanese school culture that I was very surprised by was that students are required to clean the classrooms. After the vlogger left school, I got to see some parts of the daily social culture as well. Apparently, international people are popular amongst the community, as random people will come up and greet you, asking for your contact information. However, if you are not fluent in Japanese, they tend to lose interest.
